The submitted manuscripts to the journal must use the guideline template
The manuscript should be in English using Times New Roman font type, 12 points and 1.5 spacing.
In brief, the manuscript should be arranged as follows: 1. Title page The title should be simple, compelling and clearly reflecting the main issues discussed in the manuscript.
2. Abstract: The abstract should state the methodology used for data collection and analysis and present a list of the main results and conclusions, using simple statements. The abstract must emphasize the key findings of the work and its practical implications. The abstract should not exceed 250 words.
3. Keywords: List 3 – 5 keywords in alphabetical order.
4. Introduction: Explain the reasons for carrying out the work by outlining the key problem or issue the study wants to address in contrast to the existing empirical, theoretical or policy literature. The Introduction should also clearly show the study objectives or hypothesis
5. Methodology: Provide a brief description of the study area, steps followed in the execution of the study and justification for the research methods used.
6. Results and Discussion: Explain the major findings of the study by pointing out the most exciting results. In the discussion, highlight the broader implications of the study’s findings for each objective or hypothesis and relate the findings to the existing literature and the results reported by other researchers.
7. Conclusion and Recommendations: Provide a description of the major findings of the study and its policy implications.
8. References: This journal uses the Harvard Referencing Style.
Review Process To maintain the integrity and scholarly rigour of PDIJ, each submitted manuscript will be reviewed on the basis of impartiality to measure its quality and potential contribution to development planning and social wellbeing. The peer review process is the first step carried out to guide manuscript selection and publication decisions. PDIJ reviewers are scholars selected by the Editor in Chief to review a manuscript on the basis of their expertise in particular content areas of the field. Each manuscript will undergo a double-blind review process. The second process is carried out by the Editorial Board with the guidance of the Editor in Chief. The Editorial Board evaluation is conducted based on the reviewer’s comments and recommendations, while adhering to the journal guidelines. Based on these scrutinizes, the decision may either be acceptance (hence enter the production phase of publication), revision with an invitation to revise and resubmit an improved version of the manuscript or rejection due to substantial weaknesses in the manuscript.
